We are up on the first floor at 72/8, B. Oosman Khan Road. It is right in the heart of the N.R. Road area, which means it is always a bit chaotic outside. There are people everywhere and the traffic never seems to stop. Our space is filled with machine tools. We have racks and bins full of them. It is a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes, especially when we get a new shipment in. We have been operating out of this building for many years. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are more worried about keeping the tools in good shape. Most of our customers are local shop owners or mechanics who need something specific for their work. We spend a lot of time talking over the counter about which tool is best for which job. It is a noisy place, both inside and out. We keep the ledger on a wooden desk that has seen better days. There is no air conditioning, just a couple of old ceiling fans that buzz while they spin. We like it here though. It is where we have always been. We are not a giant company with a hundred employees. It is just a few of us making sure the machine tools are ready for whoever needs them. We close the shutters at the end of the day and do it all again tomorrow. It is just a regular shop where we try to get things right.
