V 3 Express Cargo

We are located at 153 Chamrajpet, right where the Old Gitanjali Cinema used to be. Most people still use the cinema as a landmark when they are looking for us. V 3 Express Cargo is basically a big room full of parcels and crates. There’s a lot of coming and going throughout the day. Trucks pull up and we unload them as fast as we can. It’s a bit chaotic at times with boxes everywhere. We have a small table where we keep the register and some pens. The floor is concrete and looks a bit worn out. Chamrajpet is an old part of the city and it feels like it. The streets are narrow and busy. We’ve been here for a good number of years now. You get to know the delivery drivers well. Some of them have been stopping by for ages. It’s a lot of work keeping track of everything coming in. We don’t use any fancy computers, just a lot of notebooks. Sometimes a package gets a bit dusty sitting on the shelf. That’s just part of the job. We keep the shutters open most of the day to let some air in. It gets quite warm in the afternoons. It’s a simple, hardworking place. We have a big ceiling fan that makes a lot of noise. It helps with the heat though. We stay open until the last truck leaves.
