Uthishta Foundation

Uthishta Foundation is based at No 773 on 10th Cross in Indiranagar 2nd Stage. It’s right off 10th Main, which is one of those streets that always seems to have something happening. The 560038 area is a bit of a landmark in Bangalore, but our spot on the 10th Cross is a bit more settled. The building is an older one, and we occupy a space that’s pretty simple and functional. There aren’t any big glowing signs or fancy reception areas here. We just have our desks, some old cupboards for files, and a small area where we can sit and talk. Indiranagar has changed so much over the years, with all the new shops and restaurants, but the 2nd Stage still feels like a neighborhood where people know each other. We’re just another part of that. Our daily routine involves a lot of paperwork and the usual phone calls that come with running a foundation. Sometimes the internet acts up or the afternoon heat makes the office a bit stuffy, but we just get on with it. We don't try to sound like a big international organization because we aren't one. We’re just a local foundation working out of a quiet cross-street in Indiranagar. People stop by occasionally to ask questions or drop things off, and it’s all very low-key and informal. It’s a decent place to work and it keeps us busy with the real stuff.
