If you head down to M R Complex on the 5th Main Road in Mallespalya, you will find us right beside the More Super Market. It is a busy little corner of New Thippasandra. At Unnathi Homeo Care & Counselling, we spend our days talking to people who come in looking for a bit of help with their health or their personal troubles. The shelves are full of those little glass bottles and there’s usually someone waiting on the chairs by the front. We hear the noise from the supermarket next door all day, with people doing their grocery shopping and cars pulling in and out. It’s a local kind of place. We don't have a huge staff, just a few of us who know the regulars by name. Sometimes people just want to sit and talk for a while during their counselling sessions. We try to keep the atmosphere calm, even when the street outside is loud. We spend a lot of time writing down notes and listening to what folks have to say about their lives. It is simple work in one way, but it takes a lot of patience. Bangalore can be a stressful city, and we see that in the people who walk through our door. We just stay here in the complex, keeping the lights on and seeing whoever comes in with a problem they want to solve. We usually close up once the last person leaves.
