Universal Driving School

If you look for us, we are on the first floor near the Eidgah Bilal on Bannerghatta Main Road. It’s a very busy part of Bangalore, which actually makes it a good place for a driving school because if you can drive here, you can drive anywhere. We have a small office where we keep the records and the car keys. It’s a bit cramped when more than three people are inside at once. We spend most of our time out on the road in the cars, though. The traffic on Bannerghatta is always a headache, but it’s what we deal with every day. We see all kinds of people coming in, from teenagers who are excited to start to older folks who are a bit nervous about getting behind the wheel. We try to be patient because we know how it feels the first time you stall an engine in the middle of a busy intersection. The office doesn't have much besides a few chairs and a desk with a lot of loose papers. We don't do anything fancy with the decor. It’s just a place to sign up and get your lessons scheduled. Sometimes the rain messes up our schedule, but we just call everyone and move things around. It’s a small operation, just a couple of instructors and a person handling the phone. We’ve been at this location for a while now and know the roads well.
