Universal Academy

If you find yourself walking down 10th A Main in Jayanagar 4th Block West, you’ll find us at No. 611, a building called Viveka. We are tucked away on the lane right next to Hot Chips, which honestly makes it hard to focus sometimes because the smell of frying snacks is always in the air. This part of 30th Cross is usually bustling with people running errands or heading to the shops. Our space isn't huge, but it's enough for what we do here at Universal Academy. We’ve set things up simply. There’s no big reception desk or anything formal like that. It’s just a place where students come to get their work done. We spend most of our time sitting around the tables, going over books and notes. Sometimes we have to remind people to keep their voices down because the sound carries in this building. It’s a neighborhood spot, really. We know the local shopkeepers and the people who park their scooters outside every morning. It feels like being part of the local fabric of Jayanagar. We don’t try to be anything we aren't. People come in, they study, they ask questions, and then they head back out into the noise of the city. It’s a straightforward routine, and we like it that way. Most of the furniture has been here since we opened, and it shows a bit of wear, but it’s comfortable enough for a long afternoon of studying.
