United Theological College

You can find United Theological College over on Sultanpalya Main Road in the Benson Town area. We are located near the Contonment Railway Station, which makes it easier for people coming in from different parts of Bangalore. The campus has a lot of history to it. It’s a bit of an escape from the city’s traffic once you step inside the gates. We have old trees and buildings that have been around for a long time. It’s a place for study and thinking. We don't have a lot of flashy signs or modern glass architecture. It’s more about the books and the discussions we have in the classrooms. The staff here is quite small and we all know each other's names. We aren't a big corporate entity. We just provide a space for people who are interested in theology and related studies. The library is probably our favorite part of the place; it’s quiet and full of old volumes. Being in Benson Town, we are part of a very specific slice of Bangalore history. We don't do a lot of advertising because the people who need to find us usually do through the community or church networks. It’s a simple, honest place where we try to keep the focus on the learning and the community life without any extra fuss. Visitors often comment on how peaceful it is compared to the busy Sultanpalya road outside.
