You can find us at 122-A in the Bommasandra Industrial Area. We’ve been here for quite a while now. United Press isn't a huge operation. We have a couple of machines that handle the printing and pressing work. The air always smells a bit like ink and paper, which you get used to after five minutes. It’s a busy place, especially when we have a big run to finish. We don’t really have a lot of time for sitting around. The machines need constant attention so they don't jam or run out of supplies. We handle a variety of jobs, mostly stuff for other businesses nearby. Bommasandra is a big area, so there is always something going on with trucks and loading. Our building is pretty plain on the outside, but it’s what’s inside that counts for us. We try to keep things organized, but when you’re dealing with stacks of paper, things can get a bit messy. We’ve got a small team here. Most of us have been working together for years, so we don’t need to talk much to know what needs doing. We just show up, get the machines started, and go through the day’s list. It’s a steady kind of life. We don’t go in for any of that corporate talk or big meetings. We just want to make sure the ink is clear and the edges are straight on every job we finish for the people who come here.
