Unani Medical Clinic

We are situated within the National Institute of Unani Medicine grounds on Magadi Road in Kottigepalya. Being part of such a large institution means there is always something going on around us. The clinic itself is where we handle the day-to-day medical needs of people who come in from the surrounding Bangalore suburbs. Magadi Road is famously busy, so the sound of traffic is pretty much a constant thing we deal with every day. The clinic is set up to be practical. We have rows of benches for people to wait on and a few rooms where the consultations happen. Because we are near the institute, we sometimes have students or researchers around, but mostly it is just regular folks looking for Unani care. It is a very straightforward environment. We do not have a lot of fancy technology; we rely more on the traditional knowledge that has been passed down. The floors are tiled and easy to clean, and we try to keep the windows open to let some air in, even if it brings in the Bangalore dust. We don't have a big marketing budget or a social media manager. We just open up in the morning, see the patients on the list, and close up when the work is finished. It is a very routine, honest way to spend the day in a very busy part of the city.
