Uma Industries

We are situated out in the Peenya Industrial Area, specifically at C-85 on 2/A Cross in the 2nd Stage. Most people find us by looking for the Peenya 1 Stage bus stop, as we are quite close to that. This part of town is always buzzing with trucks and machinery, and our workshop at Uma Industries is no different. It’s a dusty place because of all the industrial work going on around here, but we keep our corner as tidy as we can. We’ve been operating from this shed for years. It’s got high ceilings and lots of noise from the machines running throughout the day. We do a lot of the heavy lifting ourselves. It isn't a place for suits and ties. Most of the time, we’re in our work clothes, covered in a bit of grease or metal shavings. The tea stall around the corner is where we take our breaks. It’s a tough environment sometimes, especially in the heat of the afternoon, but the work is steady. We’ve got a small team of workers who have been with us for a long time. They know the machines inside out. We don’t have a big marketing department or anything. People just know where we are when they need something fabricated or fixed. If the gates are open, we’re inside working. It’s a straightforward operation here. We just focus on getting the orders out on time for the clients who rely on us.
