Uma Industries

Uma Industries is located over in the HMT Industrial Estate, specifically at A/11. Being in an industrial area like Mithakhli means we are surrounded by other workshops and factories all day long. It gets pretty noisy with all the machinery running nearby, but you get used to it after the first week. We do a lot of the heavy lifting and technical work that comes with being an industrial supplier. Our unit isn't anything special to look at from the outside, just a standard workspace filled with tools and raw materials. We spend most of our hours making sure the production line stays moving and that nothing gets stuck. The estate itself has been here for a long time, and you can see that in the buildings and the roads. We have a small crew of workers who have been with us for a while, so everyone knows what they are supposed to be doing without being told. It’s a practical kind of place where we focus on the hardware and the specs. Sometimes the heat in the workshop gets a bit much in the summer months, but we just keep the fans going and stay on schedule. We don’t spend much time on fancy office work; most of our day is spent out on the floor dealing with the actual equipment. It's a straightforward operation here in Mithakhli. We just handle the orders and try to keep our workspace in some kind of order. It isn't complex, just steady work.
