Ucal Fuel Systems Ltd is situated in the industrial complex at Manjunath Nagar. We occupy units E/9 through E/12 on Gokhale Road. This is a purely industrial area, so the surroundings are mostly other factories and warehouses. It is a large space because we need the room for all the machinery and the components we handle. The air inside the complex usually smells like oil and metal, which is common for this kind of work. We have a lot of workers coming in for different shifts, so there is always some activity going on. Gokhale Road is often filled with heavy trucks delivering raw materials or taking away finished goods. It is not a place for visitors to just wander around; it is a serious production environment. The floors are concrete and can be quite cold in the winter, and the noise from the machines means you have to speak up to be heard. We have a small office area near the front where we keep the logs and the production schedules. It is a very functional setup where the priority is keeping the equipment running and getting the work done on time. We don't have any decorative plants or nice paintings on the walls, just the tools and the parts that we use every day. It is a hard-working spot in the heart of the industrial estate.
