You can find us in D601 at RMZ Centennial, located on Kundanahalli Main Road. It’s a modern office building, but inside our unit, it’s just a regular workspace with people busy at their computers. Tyco Fire & Security has been operating from this floor for a while. The traffic on Kundanahalli Main Road is pretty legendary, so most of us spend a lot of time planning our commute just to get here on time. The office is full of fire alarm samples, sprinkler heads, and security panels that we use for testing. It’s a bit cluttered with manuals and technical drawings spread across the desks. We spend a lot of time coordinating with technicians who are out at different sites. The break room is where we usually gather to complain about the traffic or talk about what’s for lunch. It’s not the kind of place with a lot of flash; we just focus on the technical side of fire safety and security. Some days the phones don't stop ringing, and other days it’s quiet enough to actually get some filing done. Being in a tech park like RMZ Centennial means there are plenty of places to grab a quick bite, though we usually just bring stuff from home. We are just a group of people trying to keep track of all the different systems and projects we have going on. It’s straightforward work that requires a lot of attention to detail.
