Tubit Engineering

Tubit Engineering operates out of 35 Peenya V P Rd. Anyone who knows this area knows that Peenya is the heart of industrial work around here. Our shop is just one of many, but we’ve carved out our own little space on V P Road. There is always a layer of dust on everything, no matter how much we sweep, because of all the trucks passing by. We deal with various engineering parts, mostly things made of metal that need a bit of muscle to move around. The morning starts early here with the sound of the shutters rolling up. We check the machines, oil the moving parts, and get the day's list ready. It’s a lot of manual work, and by the end of the shift, everyone is ready to head home. We don’t have a fancy canteen, so we usually just eat our lunch at the main table or out on the steps if the weather is okay. Sometimes a customer comes in with a part that’s broken, and we spend the afternoon figuring out how to fix it or find a replacement. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know how to do. The neighborhood is loud and busy, but that’s just the atmosphere of V P Road. We stay focused on the tasks in front of us and try to get the orders out on time. It’s just us doing the work at number 35.
