Our place is down in Bangalore South, out near the Electronics City area. The address is Hulimangala Post, which is a bit of a drive if you’re coming from the main city. It’s a lot quieter out here than it is in the middle of town, which is something we actually appreciate. You can see a bit more sky and there's less of that constant horn-honking. We’ve been operating here for a while, and the building has become part of the local scenery. It’s a large campus, so there’s always something that needs fixing or painting. We don’t have a corporate office vibe at all. It’s more like a large, slightly messy home where everyone is busy doing their own thing. The morning starts with the sound of the buses coming down the road from E-City. We spend our hours managing the daily grind, from keeping the lunchroom tidy to making sure the playground equipment is safe. It’s practical, everyday work. The staff mostly comes from the surrounding suburbs, so we’re all pretty grounded. We don’t go for flashy displays. We just keep the classrooms functional and the atmosphere relaxed. It’s a long day for most of us, but being out here near Hulimangala makes it feel a bit more peaceful than the usual city madness. Most of us have been here since the beginning.
