We have been here in Malleshwaram for quite some time now. Our spot is on 4th Temple Street, which stays pretty busy most of the day. If you know the N.G. Block area near 16th Cross, you know how the traffic can get around here. We spend our days working on auto parts for Toyota. It is a lot of metal work and keeping the machines running right. People sometimes think it is all automated and fancy, but there are plenty of us here on the floor making sure every piece is actually good. Some days it is loud, and some days it is just a steady hum of work. We have all gotten used to the smell of oil and the sound of the equipment over the years. We do not really do much of that fancy corporate stuff. We just come in for our shifts, do the work at D 36/1, and then head back home to our families. The heat inside the building gets a bit much during the summer months, but we have our tea breaks and that helps a bit. Working here means you really get to know how a car is put together. It is not just about the shiny paint on the outside; it is all these small gears and components we handle every day. We try to keep the shop floor organized, but it gets messy with crates and tools when we are busy. We are just a bunch of regular people doing a job.
