We are based out of the 4th Phase in Bangalore, specifically at 101, 3rd Main. This is where Toyota Kirloskar Auto Parts Pvt Ltd is located. It’s a heavy industrial area, so there are always big trucks moving in and out. We deal with making parts for cars and vehicles. It’s a big operation with a lot of machinery and people working in different shifts around the clock. The facility is spread out because of all the different processes involved in manufacturing. We have been here for a long time, contributing to the manufacturing scene in Karnataka. It’s not a flashy job, just steady daily work making sure things are built to the right specs and delivered on time. We have a lot of local workers who come in from all different parts of the city. The traffic on the way to the 4th Phase can be a real headache some days, but everyone is used to it by now. We focus on the daily tasks of the production line. There's a lot of focus on how things are put together and making sure the machines are running right. We aren't really the kind of place people just drop into for a casual chat, since it’s a secure industrial site. But we are a big part of the local economy here in this part of Bangalore. It takes a lot of coordination to keep everything running smoothly without any hitches. We just keep our eyes on the work and try to get the parts out. It’s metal and noise.
