You can find us over at Siri Fort Road on the second floor. It’s a decent spot, though parking around here can be a bit of a headache during the middle of the week. Inside, it’s mostly desks, some computers, and a lot of technical manuals lying around. We deal with machinery, specifically for the shoe industry, so there are often parts or small components sitting on the side tables. It’s not a factory itself, more of a place where we manage the technical side of things and help people figure out what machines they need for their production lines. Most of the guys here have been working with these Italian machines for a long time, so they know the insides of them pretty well. We spend a lot of our day answering emails and coordinating with technicians who are out in the field. It’s a bit of a mix of a quiet office and a busy logistics hub. Sometimes we get samples of leather or soles sent in to see how they run through the equipment. We keep a pot of coffee going most of the morning. It’s a practical setup, nothing too flashy, just enough room for the team to sit down and work through the daily list of requirements and spare parts orders that come in from different factories. It is a steady way to spend the week, making sure the footwear business keeps moving forward.
