T.John College,Bangalore

T.John College,Bangalore is over at 52, 1st Cross in Cashier Layout, which is part of the Thaverekere area in Bangalore. It’s a bit tucked away in the layout, so it’s not right on the main noisy roads, which is nice for a college. We’ve been at this spot for some time now. The building at number 52 is where everything happens, from classes to all the paperwork that goes along with running a school. Cashier Layout is a decent neighborhood, mostly residential with some other small businesses around. You’ll see students walking up and down the 1st Cross throughout the day. It’s a busy place but in a different way than a commercial hub. We don’t have a massive campus with endless fields, just our building and the immediate surroundings. Inside, it’s mostly classrooms and offices for the staff. It gets pretty loud when the students are changing classes or during the lunch break. We try to keep things running in an orderly way, but with so many people, it can get a bit messy sometimes. That’s just how it goes with colleges. We don’t use a lot of fancy words to describe ourselves. We’re just here in Thaverekere, doing the day-to-day work of teaching and managing the college. It’s a practical environment and we’ve become a regular part of the local scenery in this part of Bangalore over the years. We just keep the doors open and the classrooms filled as best as we can.
