Thittanix Instruments

You can find Thittanix Instruments at 33 Shankar Nagar. We’re right on the corner of 1st Main and 1st Cross. It’s a pretty quiet neighborhood compared to some other parts of the city. We’ve been at this location for several years now. Mostly we work on measuring instruments and things like that. It’s precise work, so we try to keep the shop as quiet as possible so we can concentrate. There’s usually three of us working during the day. The building is an old residential house that we converted into a workspace a long time ago. It feels a bit like a home, which we all like. We have a lot of small drawers filled with tiny screws and components from over the years. Sometimes it takes a while to find exactly what we need for a specific job, but we eventually get there. We don't have a big sign outside, just a small one by the gate that you might miss if you aren't looking for it. Most people who come here have been before or were told about us by a friend. We don't do any big marketing or anything. We just focus on the instruments brought to us. Sometimes someone brings in an old device that’s been out of production for years, and we spend all day trying to figure out how it works. It’s a bit like solving a puzzle. We enjoy that part of the job. We aren't a big corporation, just some local folks who know instruments.
