Down in the Small Scale Industrial Area of Rajajinagar, things are usually pretty loud. Theprinttools Corporation is at number 79, and if you walk by, you’ll probably hear machines running. We deal with tools for the printing industry, so there’s always a bit of grease and ink around. It’s an industrial area, not a fancy office park, so the roads are a bit bumpy and there’s always a truck blocking the entrance. Inside, it’s mostly shelves filled with parts and a few workbenches that have seen better days. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. If you come in, you just find someone in the back. We spend our days sorting through orders and making sure the tools are ready to go out. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, especially in the summer, and we usually have a couple of fans going full blast. It’s the kind of place where everyone knows where everything is, even if it looks like a mess to someone else. We’ve got a small corner for lunch, but most of us just eat at our desks. The work is steady, and there’s always something to be cleaned or fixed. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. It’s just an industrial shop doing what needs to be done for the printing trade. We’ve been here in Rajajinagar for quite a while, and we just keep the machines moving.
