We are based out of unit 74 in the 515 Officers Colony, which is part of the HAL 3rd Stage in New Tippasandra. Bangalore is a big, busy city, and being in this part of town means there is always something going on nearby. Our office is in a residential-looking area, which makes it feel a bit more relaxed than being in a huge glass skyscraper downtown. We have a few rooms where we keep all the records and paperwork. The desks are mostly covered in folders and brochures. It’s not a very big operation here; it’s mostly just a few of us managing the administrative side of things. We spend a lot of time on the computer or talking to people who want to know about going abroad. The chairs in the waiting area are a bit mismatched because we’ve added them one by one over the years. We have a small kitchenette where we make coffee, and the smell of it usually fills the whole place by ten in the morning. Outside, the trees in the colony give a bit of shade, which is nice when the sun is out. We don't have a big sign out front, just the address 74 on the gate. It’s a quiet, functional place where we try to stay on top of all the mail and applications that come through. It gets a bit busy around the deadlines, but usually, it's just a steady pace.
