The Blue Spice

Our place is right on 80 Feet Road in Koramangala VI Block, at number 3. If you know this area, you know how busy the traffic gets, especially in the evenings when everyone is out. We spend most of our time getting things ready for the lunch and dinner shifts. The kitchen can get quite hot, and you can hear the fans humming all day long. We aren't trying to be anything too special, just a place where you can get a meal. The staff usually grabs their own lunch around 4 PM when things quiet down for a bit. We see a lot of office workers coming in during the week, and then on Friday nights, it’s a different crowd altogether. Sometimes we run out of certain items because the market didn’t have what we needed that morning, but we just tell the customers and they usually understand. It’s a lot of work keeping up with the cleaning and making sure everything is in its place. The front door has a slight squeak that we’ve been meaning to fix, but somehow we never get around to it because there's always something else to do. Koramangala is a fast-moving neighborhood, and we are just trying to keep up with it. The Blue Spice is just our small part of this big street. We don't have a big corporate office or anything, just the tables and the kitchen. We’ve been here at number 3 for several years now.
