Tekmek Automation Integrators is located at No17, 2Nd Cross in the Duggalamma Layout. It’s part of Peenya 3Rd Stage, specifically near the Basavanagar Indira Gandhi Circle. If you’ve been to Peenya, you know it’s all about industry and making things. Our place is in the I Phase. It’s a bit of a trek to get here if you aren't used to the layout of the streets. The shop floor is full of wires, control panels, and bits of machinery we’re trying to sync up. We spend a lot of time on our knees or hunched over metal boxes. It’s not a clean job. There’s always a bit of solder smoke in the air. We’ve got a small crew of people. We mostly talk about logic controllers and how to get the sensors to behave properly. The building itself is nothing special, just a solid place to work every day. Sometimes we lose track of time and realize it’s dark outside and the Indira Gandhi Circle is finally quiet. We take turns bringing in lunch from home. The 2Nd Cross is quite narrow, so parking is always a headache for us and the neighbors. We don’t spend much on decor because the machines and tools take up all the room. It’s just a place where we put things together and hope they work the first time. It’s messy and loud, but it’s what we do here in Peenya.
