You can find Target Detective & Security Force over in Ulsoor at number 14. It’s a straightforward kind of place. We don’t have any plush carpets or fancy reception areas. Most of the time, the office is occupied by one or two people handling the rosters while the rest of the staff is out on different shifts. There are always a few uniforms hanging on the rack in the back, waiting to be picked up or cleaned. We have a large map pinned to the wall with different zones marked out in pen. It’s not the quietest office because there’s always someone coming in to report a shift change or drop off a flashlight that stopped working. The desk drawers are full of logbooks and spare batteries. Ulsoor is a busy part of the city, so there’s always something going on just outside the door. We’ve been at this address for a good while, and the neighborhood knows us. We just focus on keeping the schedules straight and making sure every post is covered. Sometimes we stay late into the night if there’s a big event we’re handling. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. The coffee here is usually quite strong because most of us are working odd hours and need to stay awake during those long, quiet shifts in the middle of the night.
