Taher Tools

Taher Tools is situated at No. 6, right above Kashmir Furniture on Silver Jubilee Park Road. If you know this part of town, you know it is one of the busiest spots for trade. Our shop is up a narrow set of stairs in Ss Ln. Inside, the shelves are packed tight with all kinds of tools. It is not like a modern showroom with bright lights and lots of empty space. It is a working shop where things are stacked wherever they fit. We have wrenches, power drills, and various hardware bits piled up high. Sometimes it takes us a minute to find the exact piece someone is looking for if it is tucked away in the back. The air is often a bit dusty, and we keep the ceiling fans running all day to stay cool. We see a lot of mechanics and construction workers coming through our door. They usually know exactly what they need, so we just find it for them and chat for a bit. There are no fancy meetings or corporate uniforms here. We wear regular clothes that we don't mind getting a little dirty from the inventory. The noise from the traffic on Silver Jubilee Park Road is constant, but you get used to it after a few days. We know most of our regular customers by their first names. It is a straightforward place for people who just want to get their tools and get back to their jobs.
