Swathi Batteries

Swathi Batteries is located at 38 Jayanagar on the Major General Lokanathan Road. You can find us right on the corner of Edward Road, which is quite near MRV College. Being so close to the college means there are always a lot of students and traffic passing by. We deal with all sorts of batteries here for cars, bikes, and home UPS systems. Most of our day is spent checking voltages or cleaning up terminals for people whose vehicles won't start. The shop itself is not very big, but we manage to keep a lot of stock piled up on the shelves. It gets a bit dusty inside because of the wind and the traffic outside. Jayanagar has changed a lot over the years, and it is definitely much busier now than when we first started. Finding a place to park can be a real headache for our customers, so we usually help them out by carrying the heavy batteries to their cars ourselves. It is physical work and can get quite tiring when it is hot out. We have a small fan in the corner, but it does not do much against the heat. Sometimes people just drop in to ask for directions to the college. We do not mind helping them out. We open up early and usually head home once the sun goes down. The signboard outside is a bit faded, but most people in the neighborhood know where to find us.
