Our main office is over at S.C.O. 204-205 in Sector 34-A. If you spend any time in Chandigarh, you probably know the sector system well. This area is full of different businesses and government offices, so it is always buzzing with people. We deal with engines, which is a lot more complicated than it sounds on paper. While the actual manufacturing happens elsewhere, this is where we handle the planning and the paperwork. The office can get pretty loud when everyone is on their phones at the same time. We have a lot of charts and schedules pinned to the walls to keep track of what is going on at the plants. There is always someone coming in for a meeting or a quick chat about a production issue. We drink a lot of coffee and tea to stay sharp. It is not a very quiet place, but it is where the decisions get made. We have been in this sector for a long time and we are part of the daily rhythm of the neighborhood. We don't try to impress anyone with a polished look; we just focus on the mechanical details and making sure the numbers add up at the end of every month. It is a lot of coordination and hard work, but we have a good rhythm going here.
