Down in the Peenya Industrial Area, specifically at No. 6A/6C in Phase 1, you’ll find Surin Automtive Pvt Ltd. If you know Bangalore, you know how busy Peenya gets with all the trucks and manufacturing units. Our place is tucked in there among all the other workshops and factories. It’s not the quietest place to work, but we like the energy of it. We spend most of our time dealing with automotive parts and making sure things are moving through the production line. The floor is usually covered in a bit of grease and metal scraps, which is just part of the job. We have a small group of workers who have been with us for a long time. They know the machines inside and out. We don't have a flashy front office or a team of people in suits. Most of us are in work clothes because things get messy. It gets hot in the afternoons, especially during the summer months, but we just keep the fans going and stay busy. There’s always a lot of loading and unloading happening at the gate. We focus on the daily grind and making sure the parts we make are what people asked for. It’s a lot of hard work, but it’s honest. We don’t really do much else besides focus on the work right in front of us.
