Suresh Electricals Chamarajpet

Our place is at No.5/1 on Surveyor Street, right across from Ajay Arcade in Basavanagudi. Most people just call us Suresh Electricals. It is a small spot but we keep a lot of stock packed in. Being in Chamarajpet means we see a lot of the same people every week. The morning starts with pulling up the heavy metal shutters and sweeping the front step. There is always dust from the road coming in. We deal with wires, switches, and all the usual electrical bits that people need for their houses. The shelves are a bit disorganized sometimes because we are constantly pulling things out to show people. We do not have a computer system that tracks every single screw, so we rely on our memory mostly. If someone asks for a specific bulb or a length of wire, we usually know exactly which corner it is tucked into. Surveyor Street can get quite packed with scooters and bikes, making it hard for people to park right in front of the door. We often end up standing on the sidewalk talking to customers while they wait for their orders to be packed. It is a simple setup here. We do not spend money on fancy signs or new paint. The old fan on the ceiling makes a clicking sound, but it keeps the air moving during the heat of the day. It is just a regular local shop where we do our work every day without much fuss.
