Surana College

Our college is situated at No.16, Basavanagudi, right on Nittoor Srinivasa Rao Rd near South End Rd. It’s a well-known corner of the neighborhood, and we’ve been here for quite some time. The building has a solid, older feel to it, and you can see the students gathered near the entrance throughout the day. Basavanagudi is a traditional part of the city, so it’s a bit quieter than the high-tech areas, but the traffic on South End Rd still keeps us on our toes. We spend a lot of our day managing the schedules and making sure the classrooms are ready for use. It’s a lot of work to keep a place like this running every day. The rooms aren't flashy, just the usual desks and chairs, but they serve the purpose well for the classes. We have a small staff that knows most of the students who walk through the doors. There’s always someone coming into the office with a question about their exams or their paperwork. We don't have any polished slogans; we just do what needs to be done to keep things organized. During the breaks, students head out to the local cafes or just hang out in the hallways between their sessions. It feels like a real community here, where everyone is just trying to get their education. Sometimes the overhead fans are noisy and the hallways get a bit crowded when classes change, but that’s just part of the life here.
