We’re located at 633 M E S Road in the Gokula area, right on the 4th Main. Our shop, Sunpac Art, is usually filled with the smell of ink and the sound of cutting machines. We do a lot of work with Sunpac sheets and different kinds of signage or displays. It’s a bit of a cluttered space because there are always half-finished projects leaning against the walls. We don’t have a big sales pitch. People usually come to us because they need a sign for their own shop or a display for an event. We sit down with a pencil and paper and try to figure out what they’re looking for. Sometimes we get it right on the first try, and sometimes we have to go back to the drawing board. That’s just how it is when you’re making things by hand or with small machines. The Gokula neighborhood is a good place for us; it’s got a lot of small businesses just like ours. We spend our days measuring things, mixing colors, and making sure the edges are straight. It can be tiring, and our hands are usually stained with something by the end of the day. We aren’t trying to be the biggest shop in town. We just want to do a decent job so people come back next time they need something made. It’s just us, some material, and a few machines working away.
