You can find us at 41275 Sadar Patrappa Road, inside the Yakoob Complex. Everyone calls it S.P. Road for short. If you know Bangalore, you know this is the place to be for anything hardware or electronic. It’s a very crowded street, full of shops and people pushing carts. Our shop, Sun Rise Enterprises, is just one of many, but we’ve been here long enough to have our regular customers. We sell all sorts of supplies. The shop is packed from floor to ceiling with boxes. Sometimes it’s hard to move around in there, but we have a system for finding things. It’s loud, it’s dusty, and it’s always busy. We don’t have air conditioning, just a couple of wall fans to keep the air moving. We start early in the morning before the sun gets too hot and stay until the shutters come down in the evening. There isn't much time for sitting around. We are usually climbing ladders or counting out parts for someone. It’s a gritty part of the city, but it has a lot of energy. We don’t do any fancy marketing or have a polished look. People just know that if they need a specific part, they can come to S.P. Road and look for us in the Yakoob Complex. It’s been our home for a long time, and we like the hustle of it. We just keep our heads down and serve the customers who come in. There is always something to do here.
