Stichting Terre Des Hommes Foundation is located on Gubbi Road in the Byrathi area, near Kothanur. Our building is called Trpt Bhavan, and we are at number 194 in Atma Vidya Nagar. The pin code here is 560077. It’s a bit of a drive from the city center of Bangalore, but it’s a nice area. Atma Vidya Nagar is relatively quiet compared to the main roads. Trpt Bhavan is a solid building where we have our main office. We’ve been here for some time now and have settled into the neighborhood quite well. The office itself is quite plain. We have the usual desks, a few cupboards for files, and a space for meetings. There’s nothing fancy about it, just a place to work. You might see some of our staff out and about on Gubbi Road during lunch. We aren't into the whole corporate culture thing. We prefer to keep things simple and focus on the tasks at hand. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow, or the rain makes the road a mess, but we deal with it. People often ask what Stichting means, and we just explain it's part of our name. We've grown fond of this spot in Byrathi. It’s a good base for us to coordinate everything. We don’t have any marketing people or glossy brochures. We just do our thing every day from 194 Trpt Bhavan and that seems to be enough for everyone involved. It is just how we operate.
