State Traders (Narrow Fabrics)

We are based at 120 in the Industrial Town area of Rajajinagar. It’s a busy section of the city where everyone is usually focused on production. State Traders (Narrow Fabrics) has been operating out of this space for quite some time. We work with various types of fabrics and materials all day long. The air usually smells like thread and dust, which is something you just get used to after a week or two. Our workspace is filled with rolls of material and machines that have seen better days but still work perfectly fine. We don’t have a showroom or a fancy entrance. People who need what we have usually know exactly where to go in Rajajinagar. It’s a practical environment. We spend a lot of time measuring and cutting things down to size. It’s not always exciting, but it’s what we know how to do. Sometimes we stay late when a big order needs to get out, and other times we finish up early if things are slow. We don’t use any complicated software to manage things; we mostly just use a notebook and a pen. It works for us. The industrial town is a loud place with trucks coming and going, but it feels right for the kind of work we are doing here every day. We just keep the lights on and keep working until the job is done.
