Star Transport

We operate out of the Venkateshwar Reddy Building, which is number 948 in Mahadevapura. It’s a sturdy old building, and we have been here for a while now. Star Transport takes up a decent amount of space on the ground level, which makes it easier for moving things in and out. The area around Mahadevapura is always changing, with new shops opening up and more trucks on the road every month. Our office is pretty basic. We have a few big tables for the ledgers and the phones that seem to ring at the most inconvenient times. There is a lot of dust that comes in from the main road, so we are always wiping down the desks. The walls have some old marks from where furniture was moved around years ago. We do not really mind the clutter; it just feels like home to us. Most of our day is spent talking to drivers or checking the schedules on the wall. The tea stall around the corner is where we usually go when things get too quiet or too stressful. It is not a glamorous job, but it is what we do. We have got a small area where we keep the keys and the logbooks, and everything has its own spot, even if it doesn't look like it to an outsider. It is just a local transport spot in a busy part of the city, keeping things moving.
