Star Precision Industries

Star Precision Industries is located at 14 Jalahalli North Main Road. It’s a busy street and there is always a lot of dust from the traffic. We’ve been here for several years now working on precision parts. The shop isn't very large so we have to be careful about where we stack the materials. My brother and I run the place with a bit of help from a neighbor’s son. We start early in the morning before the sun gets too hot because the metal gets warm to the touch by noon. There is a lot of measuring and checking involved in what we do here. We use some old machines that still work perfectly and a few newer ones that we bought second-hand. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint but we haven't found the time to do it yet. Most of our customers are locals who have been coming to us for a long time. They know we are just regular people trying to do a decent job. We don’t have a fancy waiting room so people usually just stand by the door while we finish up. It’s a bit noisy with the main road right there but you get used to it after a while. We keep the doors open to let the breeze in even if it means some dust comes with it. We just get on with it.
