Star Auto Paints

If you go down to Jakasandra, you’ll find Star Auto Paints at 557. We are right opposite to Mg School, which means we hear the school bell and the kids playing every single day. It’s a lively part of the neighborhood. Inside the shop, it’s all about the paint. We have shelves stacked high with different tins of automotive paint, and there’s always that distinct smell of thinner and chemicals in the air. It’s not a place for someone who wants a clean, quiet environment. People bring in parts of their cars or bikes, or sometimes they just come in with a specific color code they need us to match. We spend a lot of time mixing colors and checking them against samples to make sure they are right. It takes a bit of patience to get the shades just the way they need to be for a vehicle. The shop isn't very large, so we have to stay organized, though it gets crowded when a few customers come in at once. Being across from the school makes it easy for people to find us, and we’ve become a regular part of the street here in Jakasandra. It’s a practical kind of job, working with our hands and helping people get their vehicles looking decent again. We just focus on the paint and the daily routine of the shop, making sure every tin is ready for the next customer.
