Standard Driving School

Running a driving school on Banneraghatta Road means we see a lot of traffic every single day. We are located at number 41518, which is a busy stretch of the road. People come to us wanting to learn how to handle a car in this Bangalore traffic, which isn't always easy for beginners. We have a couple of cars that we use for the lessons. They aren't brand new or anything, but they work fine and have the extra pedals for the instructor to keep things safe. Most of our students are local folks or people working nearby who finally decided it was time to get their license. We spend a lot of time sitting in the passenger seat, watching the road and giving directions. It can be a long day when the sun is out and the road is packed with buses. We don't have a big office, just a small place to handle the paperwork and the license applications. We try to be patient with everyone because learning to drive is stressful for a lot of people. The main road can be very intimidating, so we start them off in the quieter side lanes before heading out to Banneraghatta Road properly. It's just a regular job for us, helping people get comfortable behind the steering wheel. We've seen all kinds of drivers over the years, some fast learners and some who need a lot more time. We just keep going through the lessons one by one.
