St Antony Provision Stores

St Antony Provision Stores is our small family shop at 53/2 on the 1st Main Road in Yeshwantpur. We have been serving this local area for quite some time now. It is a typical neighborhood store where you can find all your daily groceries like sugar, tea powder, flour, and bath soap. We open up quite early in the morning so the people can get what they need before they head off to their jobs. The space is not huge, but we make the most of it by stacking the items high on the wooden shelves. Yeshwantpur is a very busy and noisy place, and being on the 1st Main means there is always a crowd of people passing by our front door. We know most of our regular customers by their names and we usually know what they are looking for before they even say a word. We do not use a computer system or anything modern like that; we just use a paper ledger and our own memory to keep track of things. Sometimes the delivery trucks are late because of the traffic and we have to tell people to come back the next day for certain items, but they are usually very patient with us. We are not trying to compete with the big shopping malls. We just want to provide a convenient and friendly place for the local families to get their supplies. It is a lot of standing around.
