Srivens Web Technologies is based right here in Bangalore. We don't have a big flashy office in a tech park; we just operate from a standard workspace in the city. Our days are mostly spent sitting in front of monitors and writing code or looking at website designs. It’s a quiet environment for the most part, except for the sound of keyboards clicking. We deal with a lot of different internet things, trying to make sure pages load right and buttons do what they are supposed to do. Sometimes we get stuck on a problem for hours, and we all have to huddle around one screen to figure it out. Bangalore is a big place for this kind of work, so there are many people doing similar things, but we just stick to our own projects. We drink a lot of coffee to keep going, especially when we have a lot of work piled up. Our team is small, so everyone has to do a bit of everything. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy slogans. We just talk to people who need a website and then we try to build it for them. It’s a lot of trial and error and testing things on different phones and computers. We just show up every morning and see what needs to be fixed or built next. It’s plain and simple work for us, and we keep things pretty casual.
