Srinivasa Paints & Hardwares

We’ve been running Srinivasa Paints & Hardwares for quite some time now, situated at 6- 30/1A Teacher Colony in Yelachenahalli. It’s right near Chunchagatta Cross as you head down Kanakapura. The shop isn't anything big or flashy, just a local place where we keep the shelves stocked with whatever folks in the neighborhood seem to need. Most mornings start with us opening the shutters and clearing some of the dust that settles overnight. We have piles of paint cans and buckets of hardware tools all over the place. Sometimes it feels a bit cramped, but we know where everything is kept. People from around Teacher Colony stop in mostly for small things, maybe a latch for a door or a brush for a quick weekend project. Being near the cross means we get a fair amount of traffic passing through too. It can get loud with the cars outside, but that is just how the area is. We don't spend much time on fancy displays or anything like that. We just focus on having the stock ready. If we don’t have something, we try to get it in for the next time. It is a simple way to earn a living, and we enjoy seeing the familiar faces from around Yelachenahalli. We usually stay open until the evening, depending on how the day goes. It’s just us here, doing the work and keeping the shop going as best as we can.
