Sridhara Motor Driving School

Sridhara Motor Driving School is located at 74/2 on the Adugodi Hosur Main Road. We are tucked into the Nanjappa Layout area, which is a place I have known for a long time. I’ve been working here for quite some time now, and I’ve seen this part of Bangalore change quite a bit over the years. Our office isn't much to look at, just a desk and some chairs where we handle the forms for the new students. Most of the real work happens out on the road anyway, so we don't spend too much time inside. We spend the whole day driving up and down Hosur Main Road, which as everyone knows, can be quite a challenge during the morning and evening rush hours. Teaching someone to drive in and around Nanjappa Layout requires a lot of focus because the streets can be tight and there are always people moving about. I usually tell people to look for our house number 74/2 when they are coming down the road. It’s a local business through and through, nothing corporate about it. We know the shopkeepers nearby and we see the same faces every morning when we pull the cars out of the parking. It is a practical job and we like it that way. We don't spend much time on computers or doing anything fancy. We just focus on the cars and making sure the students feel okay behind the wheel before they go for their test. It is a long day usually, but being right here on the main road makes us feel connected to everything.
