Sri Vinayaka Seat Covers And Bag Works is located near the Sallapuradamma Temple at the Hallimara Stop on Hegganahalli Main Road in Sunkadakatte. It is a bit of a distance from the main city but it is a busy area in its own way. The temple nearby often has music playing or bells ringing which we can hear while we work. Our shop is very much a workshop environment with a few heavy-duty sewing machines that make a lot of noise. There are rolls of rexine, fabric, and foam stacked up against the walls. We do a lot of manual work here, fixing up old seats or making new covers and bags. Our hands are usually quite tired by the evening because the materials can be tough to handle. The shop floor is often covered in small pieces of thread and foam dust. We have a big wooden table where we do all our cutting. It is quite a dusty place because of the road being so close and the wind blowing in from the open front. We do not have a fancy showroom, just the workspace where you can see us doing the actual labor. Most of our customers are locals from around Sunkadakatte who know us by name. We just focus on the task in front of us and try to finish our work on time. The machines need oiling quite often and we keep spare parts ready.
