Sri Vinayaka Industrial Stores

If you head over to 3 Sunkadakatte in the Venus Atlantis building, you’ll find Sri Vinayaka Industrial Stores. It’s a bit of a packed space with shelves reaching all the way to the ceiling. We keep a lot of different industrial parts in stock because you never know what someone is going to walk in and ask for. It’s mostly nuts, bolts, valves, and stuff like that. We spend a lot of time climbing ladders to find things for people. It’s not a fancy showroom, just a place where you can get the parts you need to fix a machine or finish a project. The lighting is a bit dim in the back rows, but we know where everything is kept. We keep a notebook on the counter to write down what people need if we happen to run out of something. Usually, there’s a bit of a line in the mornings when the local workers are starting their day. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who know the inventory inside out. Sometimes the computer system is slow, so we just do it by hand. It’s a busy little shop and it can get a bit hectic when several people are asking for different things at once. We just take them one at a time and try to be helpful. It’s a steady life here at Venus Atlantis, and we’re glad to be a part of the local trade.
