Sri Vigneshwara Kitchen Magic

Our shop is located at 6, Magadi Road, right in the Sunkadakatte area. It is a busy stretch of road, so there is always something happening outside the front door. We named the place Sri Vigneshwara Kitchen Magic, though most days it doesn't feel very magical, it just feels like a lot of work. We handle a lot of different kitchen items and bits of hardware. The shelves are pretty packed from the floor to the ceiling. You learn where everything is after a few months, but even then, things get misplaced sometimes. We spend a lot of time cleaning grease or dust off things because Magadi Road is pretty heavy on the construction and trucks. It is a noisy spot, but it means people are always passing by. We do not have a lot of space for a breakroom, so we usually just eat our lunch at the main counter while keeping an eye on the door. It is a local business through and through. We know the other shop owners on the block and we help each other out when someone needs change or a tool. The building itself has been here for years. It has got some cracks in the walls and the paint is peeling a bit in the back, but it serves its purpose for us. We just open up early, do what needs to be done, and close up when the street lights come on. It is a decent living and we stay busy.
