Sri Venkateshwara Transports

Sri Venkateshwara Transports is based out of Doorvani Nagar. We are at 124 Venkappa Colony in the B N Pura area. It is a busy spot for us. We started with just one old truck and a lot of hope. Now we have a few more vehicles and we stay quite busy moving things around Bangalore and sometimes further out. Transport is a tough business because the traffic is always a mess and fuel prices keep going up. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to drivers and making sure the loads are secure. Our office in Venkappa Colony is a simple room with some chairs and a big desk where we keep all the logbooks. It’s not a corporate office with air conditioning or anything like that. We just have a fan and some tea. My brother and I handle most of the bookings. We know the roads around Dooravani Nagar like the back of our hands. Sometimes a truck breaks down and it ruins the whole schedule for the day, but we just deal with it. We don’t do big advertisements. Most of our work comes from people in the colony who know us or local businesses that need help moving their stock. We just try to get the job done without too much fuss. It is hard work but it keeps the kitchen fire burning at home and we like it.
