Sri Shashank Driving School

You can find us over at Akshaya Complex on the 2nd Main Road. We have been working out of this first-floor spot in Annapoorneshwari Nagar for some time now. Dealing with the Bangalore roads every day is quite an experience, especially when you are teaching someone who has never touched a steering wheel before. Sri Shashank is basically a local spot where neighbors come when they finally decide it is time to learn to drive. We aren't fancy and we don't have a huge fleet of cars, but the ones we have are kept running as best as we can. It gets busy around here, and finding a quiet spot to practice U-turns can be a bit of a challenge some mornings. We spend a lot of time talking about signals and how to watch out for potholes. It's a lot of sitting in the car and waiting for the learner to find the biting point of the clutch. Sometimes it takes a few tries, and that is fine. People around here are usually in a hurry, so we try to teach our students how to keep their cool when things get crowded. We’ve seen a lot of people go from being terrified of the brake pedal to driving quite well. It's just a regular business, really. We open up, meet the students, and spend the day driving around the 560091 area until the sun goes down.
