Sri Sai Ram Hospital

This hospital is at number 6 Kanakapura Road. If you know Kanakapura Road, you know it’s one of those long stretches that is always seeing some kind of development or traffic. We’ve been sitting here on this road for a good bit of time. It’s a plain building, nothing that would win an architecture prize, but it’s where we work. Every day is different. Some days the emergency area is quiet, and other days everyone seems to need something at once. We don't have a fancy reception with marble floors; it’s more about being practical. The staff here are mostly local people who have been with us for years. We see families from the nearby residential blocks who have been coming to us since their kids were small. It’s just a regular hospital doing regular hospital things. We keep the floors clean, the medicines stocked, and the doors open. The noise from Kanakapura Road is a constant background hum that we don’t even notice anymore. We don't spend money on big billboards or anything like that. Most people find us because they live nearby or someone told them we were here. It’s a busy life, and there is always paperwork to do or a room to get ready. We just keep going, day in and day out, right here at number 6. It's just what happens in a place like this on a daily basis.
