Setting up shop at 20 Agrahara Dasarahalli on S B Road means we are always in the middle of the action. The road stays busy from morning until late at night, and the sound of traffic is just part of our daily background noise. We focus on tools here, and the shelves are usually packed with all sorts of things that people in the trade need. It’s not a huge space, but we make use of every inch of it. Often, you’ll find us sorting through inventory or helping someone find a specific piece that they can't get anywhere else. The floor is concrete and often has a few scratches from moving heavy crates around. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know where everything is kept. It gets a bit cramped when a big shipment comes in, but we manage. People stop by on their way through the city because S B Road is such a major path. We don't bother with fancy displays or anything like that. If you need a tool, it’s probably in one of the bins or on the back wall. We just open up in the morning, sweep the front, and get to work. It’s a steady life and we like being part of this neighborhood where everyone is trying to build something. It stays interesting seeing what people are working on.
